I also found the breakfast to be a complete disaster, showing no effort whatsoever. I honestly expected a little special treatment or maybe even a warm smile, but that would have been too much to ask.

We thoroughly enjoyed the place and fresh made and satisfactory breakfast in it.
Had a restful stay here. The location was fantastic close to train station, a short way from a Baroque library. Besides, it was just next door to the beautiful town center of Coimbra, and Coimbra;))

We had a comfortable stay in historic town.
Everything was spotless, excellent staff, wonderful location close to the centre and university, the Mondego river and the historic city area.

The location is great, very close to the university and also close to the river and in front of a park.
The rooms are very noise, there's a big avenue just in front of the hotel, so if have trouble if traffic noises, take care. Wi-fi connection is only free in the commun areas, for using internet in your room you'll have to pay for it.

Good and comfortable bed. Good location, not far from the city center, and there is a park across the street that is great for jogging in the morning.
Internet system with 30 min free tickets is rather cumbersome. Breakfast could have better food and better coffee. With less money one can get better food and coffee in the city center.

Oh man, the pasta at Restaurante Italia was a game-changer-fresh and cooked to perfection! Just a hop away from the hotel, it's a must-visiting spot. Plus, the continental breakfast at the hotel was a good surprise with fresh fruit salad and scrambled eggs-it was the best we enjoyed in Portugal! The hotel's splendid location by the river had the charm to.
Here's the scoop-our stay turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. We were completely thrown off by the Municipal of Coimbra's Luna festival blaring until 4 a.m.! Thankfully, the staff was a gem, moving us to a quieter room. Small spaces and a lack of basics like a kettle were bummers, but we managed to keep the vibe up despite the chaos.

Great stay with a lovely view
I enjoyed my stay very much, particularly for the clean room and the comfortable bed, made for a restful night after exploring the city. The location near the river was a highlight, providing both scenic views and easy access to the Botanical Gardens. Plus, the underground parking was convenient and reasonably priced at 3.5 Euros for a day. The hotel doesn't offer non-smoking rooms, which could be improved.

The location of the hotel is a big plus point with windows facing riverside. Good tv channels in English. Very clean and tidy. In general a very good choice if you compare prices to the values you get.
In minus point are the quality of the towles compared to Ibis quality as well as other bathroom aminities. Reception did not ask whether we have a+ loyalty card or not.
